John and I visited Sturbridge Village in western MA in the spring of 1976 and took photos and sketched. I loved the barns and sheds, but of special interest was looking though the doorway one of the largest barns. The wooden buckets and scattered straw (or hay?) was visually appealing. "I created "Wooden Buckets" in 1977. Nine years later, I was drawn to this image again and created "Through the Barn", in a much larger etching (18"x26") which can be seen on the "Summer Images" page.
