"White Fence" is a line and aquatint etching which has been hand painted with watercolor. The plate size is 15" x 21". This print, numbered (329/400), titled and signed in pencil and is printed on Rives BFK, a 100% rag etching paper from France. This plate initially printed much lighter and the aquatint wore down rather quickly. I reworked the plate, etching the aquatinted shadows again, giving it more contrast than the first state. |
