This was the second etching I did of the row of milk cans. Besides liking the image visually it brought back fond memories of the time when I visited my grandfather and grandmother's farm in Saskatchewn. I was 7 years old but can still remember vividly room and the sweet frangance where they processed the milk, separating the milk from the cream. My grandfather made his own root beer and took us down a ladder to the root cellar (where it was cool even on a hot August day) to get some. That was the best root beer I have ever tasted! |
