Mixed Media: Etching and Watercolor by Carol Collette Signed and Numbered Etching Tenants Harbor is a small unspoiled fishing village nestled on the St. George Peninsula, where the Maine woods meet the rocky Atlantic shore. Off the beaten path and yet to be located by the usual crowds, it probably looks much as it did at the turn of the century; with simple white houses dotting the shoreline and lobstermen heading out in the early morning in old wooden boats as their grandfathers did before. Days are peaceful here, where I could sit for hours, sketchbook in hand, observing, dreaming; lost in the reverie of a bygone era. |
