This region is very sparsely populated with few paved roads, which gives one a real sense of being in the deep wilderness. If you are lucky you might see an occasional wild animal, such as moose and deer when traveling the backwoods. The abundant maple trees and slanted lighting on this crisp winter morning were my primary inspirations for this piece. |
