Maybe it's the stillness that covers the landscape, or the feel of the air, icy and clean as it touches your face, or the softness under your feet of new fallen snow from the night before. The light of dawn casts a warm glow across snow covered hills and fields, and etches bare branches into the morning sky of this stark and beautiful landscape, which I have found both very moving and a joy to depict in my art. |
