"Clouds in Water" is an etching by John Collette; numbered, titled and signed by John.
This line and aquatint etching is hand painted with Winsor & Newton Water Color and printed on Rives BFK a 100% rag paper from France. John and I enjoyed taking long walks in the country and in wooded areas especially. The inspiration for this etching was a quiet spot at the edge of a pond in the woods near Leominster, MA. "Clouds in Water" and its companion piece, "Sky in Water" are two of my favorite landscape etchings which John created. I have them hanging in my home and every time I look at them I get a deep sense of calm and a greater appreciation for his wonderful talent. |
